GOOD LUCK, McKINSEY!! ROCK AT REGIONAL'S!! The entire Just Jymnastics Mens Team qualified for the Region IV Mens Championships held in Iowa City, IA, April 12-13. Every SD gymnast earned a Regional medal, making them the standout team of the competition. 380 of the region's best gymnasts from ND, SD, IA, MN, WI, & NE competed on 36 team. Austin Trupe amazed his competitors, winning the Level 6 All-Around Regional Gymnastics Championship, and brought a gold medal back to South Dakota. He also won Regional Championships on High Bar and Pommel Horse. Joe Carlin also won the Level 5 All-Around Bronze medal and a Silver on Pommel Horse. Zachary Diehl won the Silver on High Bar; Adam Koehn won Bronze on Pommel Horse; Donovan Pereida won Bronze on High Bar and Still Rings. Our mens team is coached by Tim Trimble. CONGRATULATIONS TO TIM & ALL THE BOYS ON AN OUTSTANDING SEASON! WAY TO GO! The South Dakota State USA Gymnastics meet was held in Sioux Falls March 28-30. Eleven Just Jymnastics gymnasts brought home State honors. Making the All-State gymnastics team were Colette Christensen (Level 7), Jaleece Raymond (Level 6), & Kaiya Dickson (Level 5). These girls All-Around scores placed them in the top three for all age divisions in their level, and they were awarded and All-Star trophy. Regional's qualifier is Level 8 gymnast McKinsey Kost. At Regional's she will compete against the best gymnasts from North & South Dakota, Nebraska, Minnesota, Missouri, Iowa, & Wisconsin. The Region IV USAG meet will be held April 20th at Augustana College in Sioux Falls. State Champion All-Around winners were Nicole Stehly (Level7), Jaleece Raymond (Level 6), & Kaiya Dickson (Level 5). Other individual event State Champions were Kara Scheetz, vault; Emily Herrera, vault; Tessa Gorsuch, vault/floor; Holly Wilson, floor; Ta'keyah Snipes, vault; Madison Feist; bars. CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OUR GYMNASTS ON A GREAT YEAR!
