About Us

Just Jymnastics was started in 1982 by Bill & Cheryl Allen! They started with 60 kids and a small competitive team that did a great job! In 1992, Bill & Cheryl built a great new facility on W. Omaha Street.

Tracy Owens was a gymnast at Just Jymnastics until she graduated from Sturgis High School in 1995. She then competed at Ball State University and met Alan Ponto who was planning on being a pediatric physical therapist. In 2001, Alan and Tracy got married, moved to Rapid City, and purchased Just Jymnastics!

2007 was a big year, as we built our new facility on Sturgis Road  and Fit-N-Fun was added as a healthy alternative for kids in Rapid City, both as an after-school and summer day camp program! Due to our diversification, we have added an umbrella name "Just Kids Activity Center" to encompass all we offer Rapid City, including cheer, academic preschool, parties & special events, and coming soon...... Fitness Classes.

We are looking forward to improving the lives of many more kids in Rapid City in the upcoming years!
