About Us

Just Jymnastics was started in 1982 by Bill & Cheryl Allen! They started with 60 kids and a small competitive team that did a great job! In 1992, Bill & Cheryl built a great new facility on W. Omaha Street.

Tracy Owens was a gymnast at Just Jymnastics until she graduated from Sturgis High School in 1995. She then competed at Ball State University and met Alan Ponto who was planning on being a pediatric physical therapist. In 2001, Alan and Tracy got married, moved to Rapid City, and purchased Just Jymnastics!

2007 was a big year, as we built our new facility on Sturgis Road  and Fit-N-Fun was added as a healthy alternative for kids in Rapid City, as an after-school program, academic pre-school and summer day camp program! Due to our diversification, we have simply become "Just" to encompass all we offer Rapid City: Just Jymnastics, Fit-N-Fun, Just Fit, and Just Parties!  

We are looking forward to improving the lives of many more kids in Rapid City in the upcoming years!
